Claudia Caycho Acosta

Managing Attorney

Claudia Caycho Acosta is a respected personal injury and workers’ compensation attorney, entrepreneur, and community advocate. She is the Founder and Managing Attorney of Acosta Injury Law, a firm dedicated to representing injured individuals—particularly those from underserved and immigrant communities—throughout Georgia.

Born in Lima, Peru, Claudia immigrated to the United States at a young age and was raised in Gwinnett County, Georgia. Her early life as an immigrant profoundly shaped her worldview, instilling resilience, discipline, and a deep commitment to justice. Growing up, she witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by immigrant and undocumented families when navigating complex legal systems—experiences that later fueled her passion for advocacy.

Claudia attended Norcross High School, where she demonstrated academic excellence and leadership. Despite facing significant legal and financial barriers due to her immigration status at the time, she earned admission to the University of Georgia, attending on a full academic scholarship, including an out-of-state tuition waiver. Her journey through higher education stands as a testament to her determination and perseverance.

She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 2013. After law school, Claudia began her legal career practicing immigration law, where she gained invaluable insight into the systemic obstacles faced by immigrant families. Over time, she discovered that many of her clients were being injured at work or in serious accidents—and lacked access to fair legal representation. This realization led her to transition into personal injury and workers’ compensation law, where she could advocate more directly for injured victims.

Claudia later founded Acosta Injury Law, building a firm grounded in integrity, compassion, and results. Her practice focuses on motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, premises liability, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death cases. She is particularly known for her fierce advocacy on behalf of Spanish-speaking and undocumented clients, ensuring they understand their rights and are treated with dignity—regardless of immigration status.

Widely recognized as a trailblazer Latina attorney in Georgia’s personal injury space, Claudia has earned a reputation for being both compassionate with clients and relentless

in negotiations and litigation. She combines legal precision with cultural competence, offering bilingual representation and a client-centered approach that prioritizes transparency and trust.

Beyond the courtroom, Claudia is a business leader, mentor, and speaker, frequently engaging in conversations around entrepreneurship, women in law, and access to justice. She is actively involved in professional and community organizations and uses her platform to empower women, immigrants, and young professionals to pursue leadership roles.

Claudia is also a wife and mother of three, balancing the demands of legal practice with family life. Her lived experiences—as an immigrant, mother, and business owner—inform her advocacy and leadership style, making her a powerful voice for those who often go unheard.

Her mission is simple yet profound: to fight for injured victims with the same determination she once needed for herself—and to leave the legal profession more inclusive and humane than she found it.
